The Founder of "TPG", Ken Posney, was born in Los Angeles, California and migrated down to Orange County and San Diego County. From 1984 to 1988, Ken Posney served in the U.S. Navy, tracking Russian submarines from a P-3 Orion airplane. After the Navy, he worked for several San Diego tech companies as a Business Analyst and Sales Ops Manager, working on his photography part-time. While in San Diego, Ken started making photographs of hula dancers along the coast of Southern California, serving as a Board Member for the La Jolla Art Society. His work has been displayed in several prestigious locations, including the Merrill Lynch Building, Kyocera Corporation Gallery and the largest outdoor gallery in the Hawaiian Islands at the Kauai Shopping Village.

In 2005, Ken moved to the island of Kauai to continue his work as a hula and wedding photographer. Living in the old sugar mill town of Koloa, on the south shore of Kauai, Ken married Haunani Kaiminaauao, who was born and raised on Kauai. Ken and Haunani have four children, Sepa, Levi, Halia and Oli. They all surf, hike, play ukulele and stay active around the island.

With the advent of digital photography, the marketplace has been flooded by photographers, amateur and professional. This has driven down the value of professional photography and distorted the line between amateur and professional. Most true professional photographers welcome the influx of photographers since this helps them to expand their creativity and improve what they offer you. Unfortunately, many brides have found out in their own way the price to be paid for quality photography.

After more than thirty years of photography, Ken Posney decided to create a business that would offer clients reliable, professional and truly creative photographers with a greater value currently being offered in the marketplace.
